Rx. nausea/vomiting.: This is used to treat and prevent chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (cinv). It is also used for post-operative nausea and vomiting (ponv), post-radiation nausea and vomiting, and is a possible therapy for nausea and vomiting from acute or chronic medical illness or acute gastroenteritis. It is given 1–3 times daily, normally 8mg first, then 8mg 12 hrs later every 12 hours for 2-3days.
