He put me in a boot, with no weight bearing at all. after 8 weeks he put a shoe type boot and told me i could walk its been 5 days and it is so swoll?

Swelling is common: Swelling is one of the most common concerns of patients. With most injuries or surgery, swelling is common for 3-6 months afterward. If you have swelling without pain or limitation it is likely not a problem. I recommend you discuss this concern with your doctor.
