Chest pain : Chest pain always needs an evaluation especially when it's on the left side. See a doctor ASAP.

Non cardiac: You are not telling if this pain is associated with activity . . I am going to assume it happens at rest . You are probably having Esophageal Spasm which for all practical purposes resembles cardiac chest pain . . See your doctor for evaluation , since we do not know what your risk factors are . Eliminate fats caffeine , alcohol & large meals . Start on Omeprazole . Elevate the head of your bed .
