See answer below: Novantrone is an antineoplastic drug used for the treatment of various cancers such as breast or prostate cancer, lymphomas or leukemias and is also used in multiple sclerosis. Routine echocardiograms need to be obtained prior to each infusion. Infusions are administered every 3 months and limited to 8-9 infusions per lifetime.
