Depends : Several different kinds of arthritis - osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gouty arthritis to name a couple. If it is plain wear and year osteoarthritis - there may not be ways to Make smaller as often the new growth is bone (osteophyte), if the growth is inflammatory as in rheumatoid arthritis or gout- often this can get better with the right treatment so see your md - good luck!
