6-8 hours: The good news is that 400 mg of ibuprofen is a relatively low dose. You should watch for any signs of bleeding or increased bruising. You should opt for tylenol (acetaminophen) if you need pain meds, no more than 4 grams in 24 hours. (2 extra strength every 6 hours). Stay safe!

400mg: is a low dose and if taken once you should be ok, Avoid any anti-inflamatories over the counter or prescription while on xarelto. If uncertain call your doctor first, Tylenol (acetaminophen) would be ok but stay at or below 3000 mg a day,
