Ibuprofen - xarelto: You have a list of drugs to avoid with Xarelto. Ibuprofen is one of them. When you are on Xarelto you MUST speak to your doctor or your pharamcist before taking ANY medications especially herbals. PLEASE use one pharmacist who knows you.

6-8 hours: The good news is that 400 mg of ibuprofen is a relatively low dose. You should watch for any signs of bleeding or increased bruising. You should opt for tylenol (acetaminophen) if you need pain meds, no more than 4 grams in 24 hours. (2 extra strength every 6 hours). Stay safe!

400mg: is a low dose and if taken once you should be ok, Avoid any anti-inflamatories over the counter or prescription while on xarelto. If uncertain call your doctor first, Tylenol (acetaminophen) would be ok but stay at or below 3000 mg a day,
