Do not give: A five week old baby should be fed only breast milk or infant formula. There is no reason to provide any other sort of liquids to the child. Catnip tea has certainly not been rigorously tested in this age population - avoid it.

Catnip tea: Is an old fashioned treatment for baby's with everything from acne and colic to sleeping problems. There is no CREDIBLE evidence that it does anything. In addition, it exposes infants to potentially harmful pesticides and additives. An infant this young should get NOTHING but breast milk or formula. If you have a specific concern, consult your pediatrician.
