Fluorometholone…: Is a corticosteroid anti-inflammatory med for the eyes & eyelids. Its use should be limited as long-term use may increase intra-ocular pressure/ exacerbate glaucoma, cause cataracts, delay healing post surgery, allow fungal infections of the eyes. As with all corticosteroids for eyes, it should never be used if there is viral infection of eye. Careful monitoring by ophthalmologist highly advised.
