Decisions: If you have no other symptoms, it might be best to let it be or merely be evaluated for a possible cause. Most cases are not dangerous but only upsetting. Unnecessary medications can be worse, but some psychotherapy can teach you how to cope. So, eval and maybe therapy. YES: I assume you are talking about hallucinations while falling asleep (this is what hypnagogic hallucinations are)? These are more common than once thought, and nothing may be wrong. The most common condition they are associated with is narcolepsy, although such hallucinations can occur in a number of other conditions, or they can be normal. I would see a neurologist or a sleep specialist.
