Specializes in Psychiatry

Obsessive Compulsive: Personality Disorder. Would expect to show sxs prior to that. But, a person who was high functioning might have increased symptoms later in life if they deteriorate in response to stressors.

OCPD at midlife: Personality d/o usually develop in adolescence or early adulthood. However stressful situations may present previously unrecognized personality d/o. OCD on the other hand has early and late onset qualifiers. Early onset is around puberty and late onset is is usually 18-23 yo. That being said it can begin at almost any age. First I would suggest complete physical with labs. Then psych eval.
