No.: It is not unusual to see a diffuse bluish color to the feet if the baby gets a little chilled or if you are holding him upright and gripping him snugly by the thighs, but the discoloration clears with warmth or position change. Bluish purple marks on the lower back and butt called Mongoloan spots are present from birth. Does it wash off? Dye from socks can stain. If not, consider injury. Who?
