A member asked:

How big should a thyroglossal duct cyst be, before canadcy for surgery? in an adult male

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Well..: There might not be a need for surgery only if there is absolutely no suspicion that they have a cancer, or if they are not growing. If they are uncomfortable they should also come out. Otherwise you can follow them every 6 months with ultrasound and if there are changes, then remove them
