A member asked:

My tsh level has declined from 2.17 in 2011 to 0.983 in 2014, should i be treated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Your TSH is in the normal range. TSH or thyroid stimulating hormone is produced in a gland in the brain called the pituitary. TSH will rise in response to low thyroid hormone levels in the bloodstream. A TSH in the normal range means that you have sufficient thyroid hormone production.
