Blood pressure - my resting blood pressure was 122 over 93. i am a 22 year old female and not sure what this reading means?

How many times?: If it was an isolated reading, it means nothing. Elevated blood pressure means reproducible elevation of the blood pressure. Make sure you are calm, the right size cuff was used and both arms are checked. Then have the reading checked several times over a couple of weeks, a bit sooner if you are having any possibly related symptoms. If all of the reading are elevated, then evaluation is needed.
