A member asked:

I get gnawing hunger pains and i know i'm not hungry. they keep me awake at night and miserable . what coukd be causing this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stomach or not?: Lots of possibilities here, which can be addressed by a physical exam & appropriate testing. "Hunger pains" may mean cramping, nausea, gnawing, etc. You didn't localize your distress, nor provide enough specifics for a better targeted answer. Nevertheless, I would at least be concerned about an ulcer.
