Keep it clean: Sore implies it is small and superficial wound. Keep it dry and clean. Superficial and small wounds you may apply Polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) or Neosporin ointment for a few days. However if it is not getting better after few days, such as in Diabetic foot ulcers, MUST be evaluated for debridement of the wound and/or antibiotic treatment.
