May cause fatigue: Metoprolol is a B blocker used to treat high blood pressure and certain arrhythmias. They block the receptors that epinephrine (Adrenaline) acts on causing lowering of heart rate and Blood Pressure .Their side effects usually include fatigue , decreased exercise tolerance and sleep problems. These are usually transient and "go away after 2-3 weeks of regular dosing. Should not stop them suddenly
