Very difficult: The possibilities are very numerous. She needs to go to her doctor and give them her full history. There really is no way of knowing at this point.

Mononucleosis: There are MANY potential causes for fatigue. Mononucleosis is a viral infection that can cause extreme fatigue, sore throat, cough, abdominal pains, headaches, swollen lymph nodes and other symptoms. Other potential causes include pregnancy, sleep apnea, thyroid disease, anemia, diabetes, stress/anxiety/depression and malnutrition.
