No: These are not related to a Mood Disorder. They are effects of disturbances in the Central Nervous System. Many psych medications produce them as side effects(talk w/ your provider). The diseases that cause them are mainly: MS, Parkinson's. Huntington's and Tourette's. Side effects are the most likely in your age group - especially if new.

No.: Symptoms of bipolar disorder do not include twitching or shaking of the muscles. Neurological disorders can cause twitching. Also intoxication or withdrawal from drugs or side effects from antipsychotic medications may cause them. See your doctor.
