Yes.: Children's medical centers have resources who specialize in child bereavement. Your pediatrician, school, psychologist or psychiatrist can also assist. Don't underestimate your clergy or other parents who have struggled with similar experiences.

Ped psycho-oncology: Many pediatric psychologists, clinical and health psychologists, and medical psychologists have trainign in dealing with children with cancer and surviving siblings and parents. I had the privilige to have had a pediatric psycho-oncologist trained at memorial sloan-ketterling as one of my residents and later associate.
