Yes: Pregnancy dates are determined by LMP in people with regular cycles. Irregular cycles require ultrasound for dating. Regardless, ability to date a pregnancy in no way keeps you from getting pregnant. Only birth control will accomplish that. One should be proactive in preventing pregnancy before ready. See a doctor and learn about your options.
