Weight loss: Congratulations on starting to exercise. It may be that you are seeing a weight increase due to the creation of larger muscles. They weigh more than fat does, so you could have body recomposition that does not show as weight loss. It also could be that you are taking in too many calories despite those you are burning in exercise. Eat sensibly, and less calories than you use.

Eating more?: Weight is dependent not only on how active you are, but also what you eat. If you are exercising but also eating more, you will gain weight. Try exercising 30 min a day -- brisk walking, biking, or swimming. Also try to eat 3 sensible meals a day, with more fruits, veg; and less carbs and fat. Drink plenty of water. If you keep this up for a few weeks, you should see results. Good luck!
