See doctor again : If you are taking these two medications and continue to have hiccups for two weeks, you need to return to your doctor for a repeat evaluation. There are a variety of conditions that can irritate the diaphragm and can be very dangerous if gone undetected. If you already know that there are no issues with your upper G.I. tract, then Thorazine (chlorpromazine) at low dose can be very effective for relief of symptoms.
