Getting pregnant: Are you trying to get pregnant? If not, you've likely just been luck with your timing. If so, it likely has to do with your menstrual cycle. Ovulation occurs approximately 14 days before your period, in a typical 28-day cycle. If you do not have intercourse around the time you ovulate, then you cannot get pregnant. Be sure that this is the right time for you. It's not something to rush in lightly.
