It may help decrease: Vitamin D stimulates bone turnover by protecting against bone osteoblasts and by preserving fast twitch fibers in muscles. It also decreases inflammation in body tissues and inflammation may be the cause of degeneration in musculoskeletal system. There are many cause of back pain. If a person has rickets vitamin D can treat it. Adequate D levels are associated with less fracture risk.
