Amnesia : Amnesia is loss of memory. It may be transient, temporary or permanent. Usually is due to brain injury, trauma, or brain disorders. It could be anterograde or retrograde, if the events which are forgotten are after the trauma or before the trauma. It is different than dementia, which is of gradual onset, and delirium, which is changing with time. Please see an specialist.
