Nondisplaced broken 4th metasaursal wearing boot. prefer shoe but dr said patients limp in a shoe & can cause back problems. opinion on shoe v. boot?

Surgical shoe: Metatarsal fractures can be treated by staying in a surgical shoe for a few weeks. it acts a bit like a cast. It is possible that it can hurt your back but by not treating the fracture it will not heal well
