Menieres Disease...: Is episodic vertigo associated to loss of hearing and tinnitus ( noise or ringing in the ears. Has no cure. Comes and goes unpredictably. Some drs. Prescribe Antivert (meclizine) or Meclizine during vertigo. Onider hearing aids if sensorineural hearing loss. Avoid odium/salt.Limiting caffeine intake, reducing alcohol consumption, ceasing smoking, and managing stress are also advisable, as they may trigger it.

Maximize therapy.: There are lots of things you can do. 1. Low salt diet. 2. Control your allergies. 3. Take specific medications such as a fluid pill, prescribed by your doctor. 4. You can also get steroid injections (sounds painful but usually not) into the ear directly to help. 5. Ear operations can be done with varying success. Speak to you otologist in more detail about these options.
