Ozone: Ozone or o3 is not healthy nor safe to breath. It is a powerful oxidant - causing irritation to lung tissues and to mucus membranes of the mouth and nose and eyes. Fortunately it is not a stable compound and degrades rapidly but still it is not something that you want to be around. It isn't all bad though - it is the ozone layer of the atmosphere that protects us from uv light.
