Ultrasound results: If your ultrasound shows an empty uterus then, your bleeding is most likely from a hormonal imbalance associated with the pregnancy and miscarriage. The stress from all you have been through can cause irregular bleeding. If you have not had an ultrasound, please get one. Using birth control pills for a few months will help regulate your cycles. But you are still: Pregnant right?? It is not uncommon to miscarry one twin. The cervix is probably slightly open and can leak old blood from the miscarriage . That is why it is so dark. It is not the baby but old blood from the lining trickling out. You are not at any risk nor is baby from this
