Gatorade gum: Exertion in sports often involves mouth breathing that causes dry mouth and throat. Try a gum that promotes salivation.

See your doctor: Dry throat is a pretty common condition and it can be associated with many different conditions. Here are just a few: nasal allergies and/or chronic sinus congestion might create drainage down the back of the throat, which could give a sensation of dryness. Rarely, dry throat is a symptom of a serious medical problem. If concerned see your PCP for more information.
