A member asked:

How long will it take for the leprosy lesions to disappear? is there any cream for that if so please suggest...

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Leprosy: Depends upon type of leprosy and its treatment Pauci-bacillary leprosy : 1-5 skin lesions – Rifampicin and Dapsone for 6 months; Multi-bacillary(MB) leprosy : >5 skin lesions – Rifampicin,Clofazimine and Dapsone for 12 months; The rate of clearance will depend on the age and overall immune health of the patients. This is so variable that cannot predict.
