A poss problem: Your GF may be having an abnormal rapid rhythm disturbance - examples are ventricular tachycardia, supraventricular tachycardia, and atrial fibrillation. The 3rd is most likely. He needs to be seen tomorrow - all 3 are very controllable and, untreated, can be dangerous. Please urge him to see his doctor tomorrow (if he's having a spell with pain tonight, he shouldn't even wait till tomorrow).
