Prevent death/cancer: The primary goal of giving a vaccine is to prevent disease.Timeing o focuses on how soon it can provide protection & how best to protect as many as possible.When the present vaccine was used in locals to help prevent mother-baby transmission, the long term effect was the first decline in liver disease/cancer/transplants in the vaccines history.Other schedules didn't. The cost of delay can add up.
