If i took metronidazole for bv and did not finish course,could i take another course a few weeks later,would it work?

It should: Please make sure you finish the course this time. Unfinished antibiotic courses lead to development of resistant bacteria, and at some point the antibiotics won't work anymore. Explain to your doc you didn't complete all of the medicine, and if it was because of some side effect, let them know that too to see if a different medication would be better.
