Check heart function: Hint here is symptoms are occurring while in bed. Does it happen after lying down. Get echo, getchecked for underlying heart failure, Any lower extremities swelling? Can you lie flat in the bed with only one pillow or do you face difficulty in bathing. If the answer is YES to those questions get cardiac ECHO. also chest X-ray and serum BNP (beta naturitic peptides ) levels to rule out heart failu
