Sinusitis: you do not have to have discolored mucous to have chronic sinusitis. You can have clear mucous with chronic sinutitis. Hope this helps.

Sinusitis: There are many aspects to Acute and Chronic Sinusitis including allergy and infection. Infectious Sinusitis (acute or Chronic) generally have yellow or brownish nasal discharge, but Allergic sinusitis can have clear discharge.
