More than likely: Your baby is probably fine. If you experience any heavy cramping or bleeding, or baby quits moving see a doctor right away. I would call your OB in the morning to see if they want to check you.

Contact OB: Considering you have had direct trauma to your abdomen, it is better to be on the safe side and contact your OB right away. Depending on how hard you hit the pole, observation may be indicated even if you are not having immediate symptoms. Baby movement is reassuring, but please contact your doc!
