Perfectly Normal: We usually warn that spotting for up to a week is normal after cervical biopsies. Your cervix has to heal and any spotting will turn darker over time. Silver nitrate is often used to control small bleeding areas (cautery) and this is most likely what you're seeing. No worries and be sure to go back for your results. Take care.
