See answer: She can try closing her lid and using a cool compress to keep the swelling down and using an over the counter nsaid such as Ibuprofen (if not allergic to it) as prescribed which can help the pain and swelling too. Usually time will eventually heal this as well. See dr. if worsens or becomes severe.
