Avoid cold exposure: If you have what is called Raynaud's Phenomenon where you get Vasospasm and Bluish discoloration of toes and fingers; yes you may want to avoid cold water. The Vasospasm will not damage your Blood vessels. Nefidipine and Imdur given to you by your doctor helps this to some extent.
