Yes: Some residual spotting is normal, however, it should cease soon. If it does not, or if you continue to have spotting, it would be reasonable to see a doctor. Now that you are sexually active, you need to ensure that your partner is using a condom to prevent disease and you need to have a plan to prevent pregnancy.
