Sounds like a lymph : Node you should probable get checked out to be sure there is nothing serious going on.

Lymph node?: If what you're describing is kind of in the hip crease/groin area, it could very well be a lymph node as there are many of them in that area. If you're fighting any kind of infection in the lower half of your body, this may be part of your body's response to fight that infection. These usually go away within a few weeks. but if not or if new symptoms or gets painful and/or larger, see your doc
