Reasons: Eyes can get bags due to a number of reasons including allergies, crying, salty food, and lack of sleep. The skin under the eyes is some of the thinnest in the entire body. It is very susceptible to fluid shifts. As people age, bags can develop due to increasing laxity in the ligaments and muscles below the eyes. Also, collagen in the skin decreases, causing sagging.

Many causes: Baggy eyes can be familial. They can also be the Result of thyroid, kidney disease, diseases of the conjunctiva and lack of sleep. Hay fever is also associated with puffy and baggy eyes.
