Usually: predinosone is not used for dandruff. Only the prescribing physician can tell you the dose of the medication he prescribed

Only use the pills if other treatments don't work. Then, I always taper daily from a start of 3 in evening/2 in morning to 2 and 2, 2 and 1, 1 and 1, 1 only, skip a night, stop. This will leave you pills to use again in that way if it returns. Best!
