Heat exhaustion: Nausea and feeling faint in hot weather are symptoms of heat exhaustion. Remedies are to seek shade for cooling and rehydrate. Cool packs applied to the back of the neck, the head and core will help the body cool, and water is best for hydration. Failure to sweat is a sign of heat stroke and is an emergency requiring immediate cooling.
