A 32-year-old male asked:
My first beta hcg was 1030 on 18/06/14 and second beta hcg was 4631 on 21/06/14...what are chances twins or triplets?

Same as without test: Beta Hcg is a poor predictor of multiple birth due to wide variation in both single and multiple births. A rapid rise like this could just as easily be a singleton pregnancy
