A member asked:

Is there an additional pill that is safe with bc to stop your period once it has begun? or simply taking more than one pill (cryselle)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Sometimes we use continuous birth control pills to help when a person has excessive bleeding but if are wanting to have few to no periods you may want to consider a different type of birth control like the Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD or Nexplanon implant. Talk to your doctor about your options.
