No: The vaccine has been tested widely, and approved for use by the FDA. I have used it since it came out, and have never had any issues or side effects (other than the rare localized irritation that can occur with any immunization). Do not worry about this, as the vaccine can provide good coverage against many strains of HPV that could lead to Cervical cancer and/or genital warts.

All vaccines : Have potential risks. The HPV vaccine has a good safety record. It has been shown to be an even better vaccine than initially thought. It is protective against many more strains of HPV. The benefits clearly outweigh the risks. This is a vaccine that protects your daughter from cancer. I think that's a great thing.
