See your Doctor: After a delivery, vaginal or cesarean section, all women will bleed. It is suppose to decrease every day. By 6 weeks, most women will stop bleeding. You can start with needing 4 to 6 maternity pads a day. By two weeks, most women are using regular thin pads. You are not to use any tampons. If you are bleeding and using more than 10 pads/day or you are bleeding more than 6 weeks, see a doctor
